Symposium Opening

Symposium opening incl. a short introduction of the two SCS Networks involved Torsten Luksch and Claudio Battilocchio, Syngenta Crop Protection AG. The networks provide networking platforms for chemistry experts in the fields to exchange ideas and knowledge between academia and industry.

The Flow Chemistry Network provides a platform for academic and industrial scientists to develop and support initiatives in the field of continuous flow chemistry reactions and to showcase the potential of this promising approach for more sustainable industrial processes.

The network of Computational Chemistry and Artificial Intelligence connects researchers of industry and academia with an interest in molecular modelling, simulation and the application of artificial intelligence in chemical research. It is part of the SCS Division of Fundamental Research and maintains relationships with national and international organizations with similar focus, such as the Swiss Association of Computational Chemistry or the corresponding divisions of the EuChemS.

If you are interested in becoming a member of one of the two networks, tick the corresponding box while registering as a member on https://scg.ch/component/page/membership
