We are pleased to welcome you to ILMAC. The safety and health of all participants is the top priority for us. The goal of all preventive measures summarised here is to protect visitors and everyone involved in the organisation and running ILMAC.


Access is only permitted with a COVID certificate: 

For people age 16 and over, access to the event is restricted with COVID certificate. There are no restrictions for people under the age of 16.
There is no general obligation to wear a mask during the event.

Test centres – on site

During ILMAC (19-21.10.2021), a test centre will be available for non-vaccinated and recovered persons.
Tests will be available every day from 8:00 – 12:00. 

The test centre is signposted from Messeplatz/Exhibition Square and is located in Hall 1.0 / Foyer Nord, 1st Floor. To facilitate coordination, please book an appointment beforehand.

We basically advise visitors to arrive with a valid test result in order to avoid waiting times. 


Test centres University Hospital

When the test centre in Hall 1.0 is closed, you are welcome to get tested at Basel University Hospital. The test centre is located on the Basel University Hospital site. Access is via Klingelbergstrasse/Schanzenstrasse, and the test centre is signposted from the entrances to Clinics 1 and 2.

Book an appointment at the University Hospital test centre in advance.

The opening hours are: Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00 and Saturday/Sunday and Public Holidays from 9:00 to 13:00 


A charge is made for all tests, and the costs are not borne by the organiser.
