What is the LUMOS II?

In just under four minutes, our product manager Eric Klein explains the features of the LUMOS II. He’ll discuss details that are particularly important in routine operation, from sample handling to measurement with an FPA (focal plane array) detector.

He explains what a "stand-alone" FT-IR microscope actually is and why this is especially advantageous for routine users. Furthermore, the advantage of an open sample chamber design is made clear.

Topics such as IR spectral and imaging performance are covered as well, but the emphasis is put on ease of use and the benefits for daily use. Eric Klein makes clear, that the LUMOS II is a high-throughput routine instrument and convinces users by its low running costs and amazing performance.
