Trends, visions and challenges in the life sciences sector
ILMAC LAUSANNE, western Switzerland’s platform for chemistry, pharmacy and biotechnology, is taking place on 7 and 8 October in Hall 7 at Expo Beaulieu Lausanne. A total of 117 key suppliers to the industry are presenting innovative products, systems and applications for the entire laboratory value chain in both industry and research.
ILMAC LAUSANNE is this year offering leading suppliers in the life science sector a live marketing platform for the third time where they can meet up and engage in networking. Exchanges between the different industry players provide key stimuli and drive the industry’s innovative capacity. The exhibition zone has been configured in accordance with tried-and-tested hygiene and protection guidelines, guaranteeing the responsible and safe staging of the specialist event. ILMAC LAUSANNE is the first event to be staged for the industry in Switzerland since the corona lockdown. “Although we are expecting fewer visitors than in previous years due to COVID-19, we, as organisers, wish to send a positive signal to the market by holding ILMAC LAUSANNE and offering the industry a live-marketing platform this year too. This is because, despite digital concepts, live events are still enormously important”, says Michael Bonenberger, Director of ILMAC LAUSANNE.
The accompanying programme: symposia and workshops
Most of those attending are from Switzerland – representatives of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, cosmetics, agro, environmental and plastics industries – and awaiting them are lectures, presentations and workshops on the megatrends of digitalisation and networking. Industry leaders will be giving live presentations of their concepts and approaches to digital change. The accompanying programme has been organised in cooperation with the Swiss Chemical Society SCS. The detailed programme and tickets are available online at www.ilmac.ch.
