ILMAC LAUSANNE brings the life sciences industry together again for the first time after lockdown

Despite the challenges due to COVID, the organisers of ILMAC LAUSANNE 2020 can look back on a successful fair. On 7 and 8 October, some 721 professional visitors came to Expo Beaulieu in Lausanne to learn about and discuss innovative products, systems and applications for the entire laboratory value chain in industry and research. ILMAC LAUSANNE was thus the first meeting point for the industry since the corona lockdown.

Trends, visions and challenges in the life sciences sector

ILMAC LAUSANNE, western Switzerland’s platform for chemistry, pharmacy and biotechnology, is taking place on 7 and 8 October in Hall 7 at Expo Beaulieu Lausanne. A total of 117 key suppliers to the industry are presenting innovative products, systems and applications for the entire laboratory value chain in both industry and research.

60 Jahre ILMAC – a successful anniversary edition comes to an end

From 24 to 27 September 2019, the life sciences industry, including specialists from the pharmaceuticals, chemicals and biotechnology sectors, met up in Basel. The quality and specialist competence of the visitors was very high. Visitor numbers were up by 2% compared with 2016, totalling 12,270. Exhibitor numbers were also slightly above the figure for the previous trade fair. For the first time, more than one trade fair was staged.

60 years of ILMAC – an event in the throes of change
From 24 to 27 September 2019, the life sciences industry, including specialists from the pharmaceuticals, chemicals and biotechnology sectors, is meeting up in Basel on the occasion of the 60th anniversary edition of ILMAC. The Swiss trade fair for process and laboratory technology is celebrating 60 years of its existence in 2019. ILMAC is still far from ready for the scrap heap and is presenting a number of future changes.
