ILMAC LAUSANNE: Some 130 exhibitors are in the starting blocks with us ready to go

The first-ever ILMAC LAUSANNE is taking place on 4 and 5 October as the unique platform for the chemistry and life science community in the French-speaking part of the Swiss market. The segments of greatest interest for the market in western Switzerland are speciality chemicals, the pharmaceutical industry and biotechnology.
A new concept for western Switzerland
ILMAC LAUSANNE fits in optimally with ILMAC, which is held once every three years in Basel (24-27 September 2019). The platform’s central element is the presentation of products in the exhibition zone, which has been designed to be made up of system stands forming a single complex.
The Networking Zone, the heart of the event
The open Networking Zone is the heart of the event and functions as a place for exchanging ideas, where the principal emphasis is on meeting and dialogue. The admission ticket (CHF 40.-) includes the networking lunch, served from 12:00 to 14:00.
Challenges currently facing the life science sectors
On 4 October, the Swiss Chemical Society will be answering questions about achieving operational excellence and will be presenting examples of best practice. Five experts from the chemical and pharmaceutical industry will be speaking about their experience in process development.
Thursday, 5 October, is a day focused on Industry 4.0 in the field of life sciences. The morning’s themes will deal with solutions to technological and industrial challenges (for example personalised medicine). In the afternoon, attention will shift to specific social and market challenges (such as regulatory aspects) and the solutions to them.
The lectures rounding off this format will be taking place from 9:00 to 12:00 in the rooms sponsored by Containex.
