A look back at ILMAC 2010 – showcasing process and laboratory technologyDespite the difficult economic setting and a decline in the number of investment projects, ILMAC fulfilled the expectations placed upon it. The specialist exhibition was able to further strengthen its importance as the key Swiss supplier fair for pharmaceuticals and chemicals. A total of 73% of exhibitors (according to the results of the exhibitor survey) rated the success of their participation in the event as good or very good. In terms of the exhibition surface that was occupied too, ILMAC 2010 was only slightly below the figure for 2007, despite the difficult framework conditions. As far as visitor numbers were concerned, the fact that the Basel Life Sciences Week was held, taking in MipTec and the BioValley Life Sciences Week too, resulted in a slight increase in numbers to 17,015. |
