Basel is at the heart of Europe, borders directly with France and Germany and is Switzerland’s second-strongest commercial region. Easy to reach
The tri-national EuroAirport, the three train stations of the Swiss, French and German national railways and its connection to the European road network make Basel easy to reach via international traffic networks.

Rail
Basel has excellent rail connections to the rest of Switzerland and abroad. The train stations SBB, DB and SNCF are close to the exhibition venue.

Aeroplane
It takes just a few minutes’ drive to reach the exhibition venue from the EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg. You can obtain the current flight schedule from the new airline SWISS.

Car
As an important hub of the European road network, Basel in easy to reach by car from all three countries. Follow the signs for «Messe» and the instructions given by the traffic police.

Culture and accommodation
Basel is characterised by a highly varied cultural offer. Around thirty museums are available to visitors, including the Fondation Beyeler and the Tinguely Museum. Basel has a vast selection of accommodation on offer in all categories. Last but not least, the Basel cuisine is highly valued for its variety of combined French, German and regional cuisine.
