The catchment area

Basel is the main centre of the European pharmaceuticals and chemicals industry and the third biggest life-sciences region in Europe, employing 27,800 pharmaceuticals, chemicals and agrochemicals experts. More than 3,500 companies in the sector and also a large number of conventional universities and universities of applied sciences are established in Basel and the surrounding area.

The exhibitors

Laboratory technology and process technology are being presented together for the first time instead of in separate sections: at ILMAC 2016, our exhibitors can showcase their competences and solutions as an overall package. This will ensure greater attention from the growing number of professional visitors who plan and implement their company processes holistically rather than individually.
